Terms of service

Last updated 18 September 2026

Some details below are still to be confirmed and appear in square brackets. These terms will be completed before Graft leaves beta.

The agreement

These terms are between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“we”) and the company that subscribes to Graft (“you”). By creating an organisation in the app you accept them.

Trial and subscription

New organisations get a 14-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, an active subscription is needed to record new work — capturing documents, posting costs, logging hours and raising client invoices.

If your subscription lapses, you keep access to your data. You can still sign in, read everything you have recorded, and export it as CSV or as a ZIP of your receipts. We do not hold your records hostage.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can change plan or cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part-periods unless the law requires it.

Your data

Your jobs, costs and documents are yours. We process them to run the service, as described in our privacy policy. We retain receipts for seven years unless you ask us to erase them.

What Graft is not

Graft records costs and produces figures from what you enter and from text read out of your documents. Automatic extraction can be wrong, and every figure is editable before you post it — you are responsible for checking them. Graft is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and profit figures it shows exclude tax and business overheads.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss.

Ending it

You can stop using Graft at any time, and delete your own account in the app from Settings. If you are your company's admin that closes the company; what happens to the records is set out in the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or that has not paid. If we end the agreement, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION].
